By Tuesday, January 22, 2024 the five men approved entrance into the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts US Province Novitiate had arrived at the Novitiate in Hemet,California. They are (l to r) Jeremiah Nestor (Nez) Marcelo (Texas), Talilotu (Lotu) Ulupano (Tonga), Kasimero (Kasi) Bule (Fiji), John Vitolio (Samoa), and Apisalome ( Pisa) Setefano Veitoyaki (Fiji).

They begin their Novitiate year. It is focused and privileged time for their initiation into a deep spiritual life, into religious life and into the Charism of our Congregation. This time of grace is a time for them to make a personal response to Christ. The yearlong Novitiate is an opportunity for growth in their relationship with God, themselvesf, and others. They will continue to discern their vocation to and clarify their motives for entering the Congregation and their readiness for formal commitment to religious life in the Congregation

They will be assisted in this journey by Novice Master, Fr. Richard Danyluk, ss.cc. Socius Novice Master, Fr. Semisi Pulotu, ss.cc. and the SS.CC Community resident in Hemet. Please keep them in your prayers.
