SSCC at the LA Religious Congress 2024

Our SSCC community was blessed to participate as Exhibitor at the Religious Education Congress of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, held last February 16 to 18, 2024. The event drew approximately 12,000 participants and speakers from around the world, providing a valuable opportunity to engage with a diverse audience, including young adults, catechists, teachers, priests, and religious brothers and sisters.

With the collaborative support of our SSCC brothers and sisters, Holy Name of Mary Vocation Ministry, and volunteers from Damien High School, visitors to our booth were warmly greeted and received with hospitality. We took the opportunity to share with them the rich history of our SSCC community and promoted vocations by encouraging and empowering them to actively contribute to vocation promotion in their parishes and communities.

Our team also engaged with teenagers and young adults who expressed interest in and were discerning the religious life. They willingly signed up to receive more information about our community and demonstrated an openness to be guided in their discernment journey. We earnestly hope and pray that our collective efforts will yield abundant fruit in the near future.
