Fr. Raja Sebastain, ss.cc. inducted as parish priest of St Gabriel and St Bernard parishes in London.
Dear Brothers
Greetings of peace, love and joy of the our Lord!
On 13th October Raja was inducted as the parish priest of South Harrow (St Gabriel’s) and Northolt (St Bernard). Bishop John Serrington the auxiliary Bishop of West Minster Diocese came to do the honour. It was spirit filled and gracious occasion for us.
We would like to quote what Bishop wrote to us:
“Dear Father Raja
I write with sincere thanks for the welcome I received when I celebrated the Mass of Induction with you and Fr. Alexis. After the prayerful liturgy, with the good choir and excellent Lead cantor, the hospitality and opportunity to meet many parishioners was deeply appreciated.
I hope that the evening marked a moment in the life of the parish which will be remembered and which you will treasure. I hope you continue to “feel at home” in Northolt and South Harrow and are “finding your feet”
Be assured of my prayers as we approach the great celebration of All Saints and the commemoration of All Souls. I hope I will see you both at the Clergy Day on the 22 November and Mass for the deceased clergy.
